The emergence of automorphic structures always comes as a surprise. There is a colored solvent layer between two glass plates lying on top of one another. As a result of warming and its surface tension, it contracts in the shape of drops. These drops come into contact with the top plate. In doing so, they develop fascinating behavior, appearing like amoeba.
